In an effort to improve the nation’s deteriorating transportation infrastructure, the Americans for Transportation Mobility (ATM) coalition launched the FasterBetterSafer campaign June 23 to push for the renovation of roads, bridges and highways. The million-dollar campaign unites the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and various ground transportation trade groups, such as the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA), to advocate before Congress for the renewal and reformation of federal highway and transportation programs in 2009.
